As an AirSprint Fractional Owner, you can take advantage of everything Alberta has to offer and you can do it without the hassle of long airport lines, and commercial air travel. Here is just a taste of the adventures that await in Alberta’s wide-open spaces and towering mountain ranges.

Banff/Lake Louise

Just an hour and a half to the west of Calgary lies the world-famous town of Banff. This small mountain town is home to thousands of tourists every year and with good reason.

The town of Banff is surrounded by strikingly beautiful and rugged mountains and is filled with restaurants, bars and shops as well as a number of art galleries and museums. If you’re visiting in the winter, outdoor adventures like skiing at Lake Louise, snowshoeing or visiting the hot springs await. Regardless of the season, taking in the awe-inspiring beauty of locations like Moraine Lake and Lake Lousie will leave you feeling inspired. If you’re visiting in the summer, take a trip up the Banff Gondola, or play a round at the Banff Springs Golf Course - a Stanley Thompson gem that has been one of Canada’s top golf courses for more than 100 years.

For accommodations, the Banff Springs Hotel - referred to locally as “The Castle,” is a must-visit.

Calgary

Calgary is a city rich with beautiful landscapes and urban vibrancy. A young, energetic city, Calgary has an array of experiences that allow visitors endless opportunities for adventure.

Home to the 1988 Winter Olympics, Calgary is home to a lot of Canada’s top athletes. You can watch them train at the WinSport complex, or even try out some of the activities yourself, like bobsledding.

The Bow River provides excellent fishing opportunities and Calgary is home to dozens of world-class golf courses including the new Mickelson National - Phil Mickelson’s first golf course project.

If you’re looking for things to do indoors, The National Music Centre is home to Studio Bell and one of Canada’s most interesting architectural designs. It houses music performances, exhibitions and programming. Or take a walk along Stephen Avenue on your way to the Calgary Tower for top restaurants, bars and Theatre Calgary.

Of course, a section about Calgary would not be complete without mentioning the world-famous Calgary Stampede that takes place every July and sees over a million visitors to the city.

Edmonton

Alberta’s capital city is the northernmost metropolis which gives you a unique opportunity to experience 18 hours of sunlight in the summer while taking in the vibrancy of an urban centre.

If you’re travelling with the family, North America’s largest mall - West Edmonton Mall - makes the perfect stop and can easily fill a whole weekend. Take in all the restaurants and more than 800 shops, while also visiting all the rides at Galaxyland and the water park.

Whyte Ave in Old Strathcona features all the bars and restaurants you could want, meanwhile if you find yourself in Sir Winston Churchill Square you’ll likely find a festival happening. And no matter what time of year, the river valley is a beautiful thing to take in.

Edmonton is also home to a number of high-end golf courses including Sturgeon Valley Golf Course and the Jack Nicklaus designed Northern Bear Golf Course.

Waterton Lakes National Park

Nestled in the far southwest corner of Alberta, Waterton is one of the most distinctive mountain parks on the planet. A visit to Waterton offers you stunning views of both the Rocky Mountains and the clear blue waters of Waterton Lake.

Waterton offers you the unique ability to take a boat ride and cross the border into the United States. It also offers some of the best hiking in the entire world.

AirSprint owners can easily access Waterton via Pincher Creek Airport and while there, The Prince of Wales Hotel offers an opulent stay with gorgeous views.
